W.L.L. was estab­lished in Qatar in 1976 as a Build­ing and Civil Works Con­trac­tor, incor­po­rat­ing a sep­a­rate Divi­sion spe­cial­iz­ing in the man­u­fac­ture of SPACEMAKER portable pre– fab­ri­cated build­ings. The Com­pany has grown to be one of the major con­struc­tion com­pa­nies in Qatar and has gained a proven rep­u­ta­tion for qual­ity work­man­ship on a wide vari­ety of projects which have been com­pleted on pro­gramme and within bud­get, and has achieved GRADE 1 sta­tus for Build­ing Con­trac­tors, the high­est grade clas­si­fied by the Gov­ern­ment of Qatar. We also hold ISO 9001 Certification.

In 1996 we formed a Part­ner­ship with then Tilbury Dou­glas, now Inter­serve Plc of U.K. and with this added strength and sup­port of a major con­struc­tion ser­vices provider, we can now under­take the most demand­ing of projects.

We have devel­oped a broad client-base, both in the Pub­lic and Pri­vate Sec­tors, and have car­ried out Con­tracts for such national orga­ni­za­tion as Qatar Petro­leum (QP), Qatar Fer­til­izer Com­pany (QAFCO), Qatar Steel Com­pany (QASCO), Qatar Pub­lic Telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions Cor­po­ra­tion (Q-TEL), the Min­istry of Munic­i­pal Affairs & Agri­cul­ture (MMAA) and MEW (Al Kahramaa).

Expe­ri­ence: 2 — 4 Years

Skills: ca / good com­mu­ni­ca­tion / audit / computers

Desired:
•Must be a com­merce grad­u­ate, hav­ing under­gone arti­cles train­ing with a Char­tered Accoun­tant. Expo­sure to Audit is a must and that to Inter­nal Audit will be an added advan­tage.
•Must have work­ing knowl­edge of account­ing and audit­ing prin­ci­ples and prac­tices with spe­cial ref­er­ence to con­struc­tion project sites.
•Must be com­puter lit­er­ate and be able to use the com­put­ers in dis­charg­ing the day to day respon­si­bil­ity.
•Under the over­all guid­ance and direc­tion of the Head of the Inter­nal Audit Depart­ment, the incum­bent will be respon­si­ble for exe­cu­tion of the Inter­nal Audit Plans.
