Applications are invited’on the prescribed form obtainable from the Registrar, CAU, Imphal, -795004 or Liaison Officer, Central Agricultural University, Room No. 202, KAB - II, Pusa, New Delhi -110012 for filling up the undermentioned teaching posts under Central Agricultural University for its constituent Colleges on payment of Rs. 100/- either by payment in cash at counter or by sending IPO/DD drawn in favour of Comptroller, CAU, payable at Imphal. The duly completed application form with pr escribed fee of Rs. 200/- (Rs.100/- in case of ST/SC/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen) in the form of IPO/DD drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Central Agricultural University, Iroisemba, Imphal should reach the office of the Registrar, Central Agricultural University, Imphal or Liaison Officer, CAU, Room No. 202, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan -II, Pusa, New-Derrli - 110012 on or before 30th June, 2009. (A) College of Agriculture, Imphal, Manipur.
Scale of Pay :- Rs. 37400-6700 with AGP of Rs. 9000/-

1. Application must be accompanied by attested copies of Mark Sheets, Certificates, Experience certificates etc. and the details of research publication, if any, in support of eligibility.
2. Candidates already in service should submit their applications through proper channel. Candidates anticipating delay in sending application through proper channel, may forward the application directly with required application fee. However, the candidate will have to produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview, failing which such candidates will not be allowed to appear in the interview*and will not be reimbursed fare.
3. Candidates who have already applied in response to University earlier Advertisement No. 3/ 2007 dated 01.10.2007 need not apply again. However, they should inform their willingness for consideration of their candidature along with the fresh candidates. They may also communicate any additional publications/qualifications acquired by them after the earlier advertisement and upto the last date.of submission of applications.
4. Applications, which are incomplete/not on the prescribed form/received after the due date/ received without the prescribed application fee shall not be considered. The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.
5. The University has the right to fill or not to fill up any post and also to increase or decrease the number of post
6. Only the short listed candidates will be called for interview at their own costs. However, the University shall reimburse second sleeper class rail fare by the shortest route or actual bus fare on production of tickets
7. 3% of the posts are reserved for physically challenged candidates as per rules.
8. Candidates fulfilling the minimum requirement may also be considered for the post of Professor and Associate Professor on deputation basis.
9. Persons who are going to retire or just retired may also be considered for re-employment on standard terms of re-employment or on contract appointment.
10. For the post of Assistant Professor the maximum age limit is 35 years as on the last date of submission of application form.
11. The age of superannuation for teachers In Central Agricultural University is 65 years.
