University of Jammu, Applications by Government Servants should be sent through the Administrative Authority concerned, by the University Employees through the Registrars of their respective Universities and by the persons employed in the private Firms and Institutions through the Heads of the Firms/Institutions concerned. Applications complete in all respects, on prescribed form are invited for the following posts:

A. Joint Registrar (Bhadarwah campus) : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade Pay Rs. 8900/-, Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale. Five years of experience as Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in a College or a University with experience in Educational Administration. OR Comparable experience in research establishment and /or other institutions of higher education. OR 05 year’s of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
B. Deputy Registrar : No of Post : 05 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-, Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale. Five years of experience as Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in a College or a University with experience in Educational Administration. OR Comparable experience in research establishment and /or other institutions of higher education. OR 05 year’s of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
C. Assistant Director (Physical Education) : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6000/-, Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Physical Education (2 years course) or Master’s Degree in Sports or an equivalent Degree with at least 55% (50% in case of SC/ST category) of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale plus a consistently good academic record. Record of having represented the University/College at the Inter-University/Inter Collegiate competitions or the State in National Championships. Passed the Physical Fitness Test. Qualifying in the National Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
