RECRUITMENT OF Assistant Technicians (A-II Level)

ONGC-Mumbai Sector invites applications (online) for recruitment of young and energetic men as Assistant Technicians (A-II Level) from candidates with valid registration of eligible Diploma qualification in any of the Employment Exchanges located within the State of Maharashtra. The Employment Exchange Certificate/card Registration should be valid during the online registration process.

1. Assistant Technician/ Production/A-II Level : 54 Posts
   Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Petroleum Engineering
2. Assistant Technician/ Electrical/ A-II Level :18 Posts
   Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Should have Certificate of Competency as Electrical Supervisor
3. Assistant Technician/ Instrumentation/ A-II Level : 29 Posts
   Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
4. Assistant Technician/ Mechanical/ A-II Level : 31 Posts
   Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
5. Assistant Technician/ Electronics/ A-II Level : 04 Posts
   Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom/ E&T Engineering

Percentage of Marks: Minimum 60% Marks in 3 years Diploma in the respective discipline for General /Other Backward Class (OBC) with valid non creamy layer Candidates and 50% marks in 3 years Diploma for SC/ST Candidates. (Round off decimal percentage to lower digit, e.g. 59.9% means 59 % only)

Age Limit: 30 years for General candidates, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST candidates as on 31.12.2009.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5100/- open ended with applicable rate of increment per year (Pay scales are due for revision w.e.f. 01/01/2007)

Selection Methodology: The selection methodology will comprise Written Test and Personal interview. The candidates will have to qualify at each stage separately and in aggregate.
