Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) also known as Arunachal University is the institution of higher learning of the State of Arunachal Pradesh. It was established in 1984. The Foundation Stone of the University was laid by the then Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi on 4 February 1984.The University recognized from the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Applications in quadruplicate along with recent past photo size of 4 copies and Photostat copies of all supporting documents, and application fee of Rs. 200/-, exempted for SC/ST candidates, drawn in favour of Registrar payable at SBI, Doimukh/ Vijaya Bank, Doimukh (other than are no acceptable) should reach the REGISTRAR, Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh-791112, on or before 30th July 2009 .The last date of receipt of application for the following faculty positions is extended upto 21st August 2009 . The envelope should super scribe the post applied.
