1. Sub-Inspector (Executive) Male : 380 posts (Open-304, Department-38, Ex-SM-38), Pay Band : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200, Age : 20 to 25 years as on 01/07/2009. Relaxation in age as per rules, Qualification : Graduate from a recognised university or equivalent, Physical Stantdard : 170 height, relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas, Chest : 81-85 cms. relaxtion by 5 cms for residents of hill areas
2. Sub-Inspector (Executive) Female : 82 posts, Pay Band : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200, Age : 20 to 25 years as on 01/07/2009. Relaxation in age as per rules, Qualification : Graduate from a recognised university or equivalent, Physical Standard : 170 height, relaxation by 5 cms for residents of hill areas, Chest : 81-85 cms. relaxation by 5 cms for residents of hill areas

Application Fee : Rs.100/- in the form of DD/Banker’s cheque in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi, payable at Delhi. SC/ST and Ex.SM candidates are exempted.
