Walk-In-Interview for Faculty (Lecturers) Positions
Candidates fulfilling UGC/AICTE qualifications may attend Walk-In-Interview along with the original certificates/ testimonials and one latest photograph on the date and time given below in the Conference Hall (Vikram Sarabhai Block) for appointment to the post of Lecturers on contract/ visiting faculty against vacant teaching posts in the following departments for a period of six months or till the regular selection is made :
1. Physics : 05 posts (UR-4,SC-1), Walk-In on 29/07/09 at 10.00 am
2. Chemistry : 07 posts (UR-4, BC-1, ESM-1, SC-1), Walk-In on 29/07/09 at 11.30 am
3. Maths : 04 posts (UR-2, BC-1, SC-1), Walk-In on 29/07/09 at 1.30 pm
4. English : 06 posts (UR-4, BC-1, BC-1, SC-1), Walk-In on 29/07/09 at 4.00 pm
5. Centre for Excellence Energy & Environmental Studies : 01 post (UR), Walk-In on 29/07/09 at 5.30 pm
6. Architecture : 11 posts (UR-7, BC-1, SC-2,PH-1), Walk-In on 30/07/09 at 10.00 am
7. Bio-Technology : 06 posts (UR-3, ESM-1, SC-2), Walk-In on 30/07/09 at 11.30 am
8. Chemical Engg. : 02 posts (UR-1, BC-1), Walk-In on 30/07/09 at 1.00 pm

The teachers to be appointed on contract would be paid salary of Rs.15000/- pm for B.Tech. and M.Sc. Rs.18000/- pm for M.Tech. or NET qualified and Rs.20000/- for Ph.D. candidates. The visiting faculty will be paid Rs.350/- per period with BE/ B.Tech. qualifications subject to maximum of Rs.15000/- per month and M.Tech. will be paid @ Rs.400/- per month with a ceiling of Rs.18000/- per month.
