Job Descrip­tion:

• *Estab­lish and imple­ment an effec­tive com­pli­ance pro­gram to pre­vent ille­gal, uneth­i­cal, or improper conduct.
• *Respon­si­ble for design­ing, devel­op­ing, imple­ment­ing and admin­is­ter­ing all aspects of the Company’s Com­pli­ance Man­age­ment Pro­gram includ­ing pol­icy & procedures.
• *Plan, orga­nize, and con­trol the Company’s day-to-day admin­is­tra­tive and invest­ment research com­pli­ance activ­i­ties; col­lab­o­rate with Sr Man­ager – Legal & Com­pli­ance in the over­all admin­is­tra­tion of these direc­tives for the Company.
• *Mon­i­tor and report results of the com­pli­ance and ethics efforts of the com­pany to Management.
• *Par­tic­i­pate in var­i­ous com­mit­tees, audits and exam­i­na­tions. Per­form duties as the IP Pro­tec­tion Offi­cer, Con­fi­den­tial­ity Offi­cer and License Com­pli­ance Officer.
• *Con­duct staff train­ing related to new hires, com­pli­ance and cus­tomer service.
• *Advise the Man­age­ment and employ­ees of emerg­ing com­pli­ance issues and con­sult and guide the Com­pany in the estab­lish­ment of con­trols to mit­i­gate risks. Reports to Sr. Man­ager – Legal & Compliance

Desired:
*Grad­u­ate in Law prefer­ably with a CA/MBA-Finance with 2 – 3 years work expe­ri­ence as a Com­pli­ance Offi­cer ide­ally in an invest­ment advi­sory and/or finan­cial research firm or as a legal offi­cer in a law firm/in-house legal depart­ment with a broad focus on gen­eral prac­tice areas.
*Knowl­edge of investment/financial research ser­vices is essen­tial. *Abil­ity to use online legal resources.
