Applications are invited for the post of Constables in UP Police :
Constable : 35000 posts (UR-17500, OBC-9450, SC-7350, ST-700), Pay Scale : Rs. PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.1900, Age : 18-22 years as on 01/01/2009 (born between 02/01/1987 and 01/01/1991), Qualification : 12th pass or equivalent, Desirable : 2 years experience in Pradeshik Seva (ii) NCC B certificate (iii) Certificate in Computer Application, Height – 168 cm (160 cm for ST) for male and for Female – 152 cm ( 147 cm for ST) , Chest – 84 cm (82 cm for ST), 10 km run in 60 minutes (5 km in 35 minuets for females) , wight for female – 45-58 kg.
Relaxation in age as per rules.
Selection by Written Test, Physical test and interview.
Application Form : Prescribed OMR application forms and details can be purchased from all Main/ Head Post Offices in all the districts (total 131 ) of UP from 10/07/2009 till last date i.e. 10/08/2009 on payment of Rs.50/-
How to Apply : Application forms complete in all respect should be submitted in the same post offices from where the form was purchased till 5.00 pm 10/08/2009.
