Job Description :
Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma for the combined competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of English Stenographer (Basic Grade) in various offices of Government of West Bengal

Pay Scale : Rs.4000-8850/-

Age : 18-32 years. Relaxation as per rules.

Qualification : (i) A citizen of India or such a person of other nationality as declared eligible by Govt. of India, (ii) Pass in Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent (iii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of Nepali speaking candidates from hill areas of the district of Darjeeling)

Application Fee : Rs.150/- only in the form of Indian Postal Order endorsed to The Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal payable at GPO Kolkata or by a receipted challan from government Treasury in West Bengal or RBI Kolkata. See details.
